Did someone say… Hashtag #ParkRidgeWonderful
Sure did! Ever heard the saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words”… Sometimes ideas are better expressed with an “attachment” — and lucky for us, Instagram provides just such a service. As you are out and about, snap photos of places or things you love or where opportunities / issues exist. This can be a place in town or an example from elsewhere of something you’d like to see in Park Ridge. Post the photo to Instagram with your idea in the comment field and add the hashtag #ParkRidgeWonderful to ensure we find it!
Thanks for the read! Please continue to share, spread the word, and mark your calendar – there will be a Park Ridge Wonderful Idea Booth at the June 8th Farmers Market.

Comprehensive Planning, Ahoy!A lot of planning has been done over the past 5-10 years, but our City’s last Comprehensive Plan is going on 20+ years old. It goes without saying that a lot can, and has changed in the course of two decades, so it’s due time that we check back in with our community to see where opportunities and needs reside! Over the next 12-months we will be working with you – Park Ridge residents, business owners and stakeholders – to create a plan that will serve as a guide for our City’s future. The plan will inform physical, social and economic development, and serve as a key tool in informing the City budget and organizing community initiatives.
While the Comprehensive Plan will serve as the guiding element for the City, the guiding element of the plan is you! This is YOUR community, YOUR plan, and YOUR future. So start thinking, sharing, and spreading the word to your friends and neighbors to get involved. Explore and interact with the tools embedded herein.
