How do I Obtain a Copy of A Crash Report?Copies of traffic accident reports for crashes that occurred on or after August 1, 2014 can now be purchased online at www.buycrash.com.  LexisNexis is our eCommerce vendor that makes it possible to quickly access and download a copy of a report without leaving your home or office, usually within 48-72 hours of the accident.  There is a convenience fee assessed by the eCommerce vendor, however these reports will still be available for purchase at the Park Ridge Police Department for the standard fee of $5.00.

To obtain a copy of a traffic accident report for crashes that occurred prior to August 1, 2014, please contact the Park Ridge Police Records Bureau at (847) 318-5307.  It is recommended that you contact the Records Bureau to confirm the availability of a requested report before arriving at the police station.
